True Fly (diptera) Gallery
These page contains a mixture of regular macro photography and 'focus stacks' of dead insects shot in a macro studio, mostly the latter.

The names which appear when you mouse-over the thumbnails are my best attempts at identification - I am not a trained entomologist, but I have been studying bugs for around 20 years. If I'm not sure of the species then I will just list the genus, sometimes just the order.. Please let me know if you think any of my IDs are incorrect.
